A Cause For Celebration

It’s Friday morning and here at Oakland Vale we’re all getting geared up for the Jubilee Weekend!This Saturday marks the 60th Anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign and will be celebrated internationally as the second monarch to ever enjoy a Diamond Jubilee.

As a company, we too have something to celebrate. We have had a flurry of planning approvals with a substantial project in Sevenoaks and a commercial scheme in the Test Valley area being approved by the relevant Local Authorities – both of which we have already been given the go ahead to proceed with Building Regulations. In addition, we have very recently had an approval for a large development in West Sussex, leading to a fantastic outcome for all three proposals.

There are also some exciting new projects in the works. Darren, our Design Director, is currently working on conceptual and planning drawings for two impressive houses in Surrey, one of which is a beautifully designed “Wealden Hall House” style home, complete with the characteristically recessed center bay framed by two oak braces and a central drop pendant. We also have new projects coming up in East Sussex, West Sussex and Surrey. There will be more details to follow on these exciting projects.
